Faction Morals

Post by Briceson_Davis on Wed Jan 17, 2018 5:15 am

INTRODUCTION
Along with joining this faction comes a sense of morality. Discipline and dedication are two words that can sum up this entire passage. We're not asking anyone to be perfect, but one can definitely put effort in at being perfect. What we do ask, is for everyone to constantly showcase an appetite for better and more.

Preparation

Post by Briceson_Davis on Wed Jan 17, 2018 5:45 am

Do not hop In-Game having no clue on who your character is. Figure out his/her personality, ethnicity, background, etc— prior to coming In-Game. Ask yourself what is your character's lifestyle? Please know that you're not limited to roleplaying a full-fledged gangster. Don't only look at it as trying to portray a gang, but also a hood. Within a single hood, there's many variations of characters. A few ideas are below but you're not limited to these ideas. Think outside the box and come in with something creative.

Visit the thread below for some solid character ideas.

In-Game Approach

Post by Briceson_Davis on Sat Sep 01, 2018 3:51 am

When you come In-Game for that first time and see us carrying on with RP, please do not get shook and stand there like an assface. Criticism is universal here, but discrimination is of no existence. We want you to feel comfortable the moment you step foot into the faction. There is no excuse for you to sit around for minutes and not engage in any roleplay. You should have already prepared your character so just come In-Game and RP that shit to the T.

Respect for Staff

Post by Briceson_Davis on Tue Dec 04, 2018 2:30 pm

I'm not asking anyone to kiss ass, but when you're trying to make it far with something sometimes you have to put your ego aside. We cannot have members blatantly disrespecting the staff team. That will kill all our chances at having a successful faction. Deal with things maturely. If you feel that you've been disrespected by any member of the staff just share the story to us and leave it as it is. We're not moving on some "against the system" shit.

Creativity

Post by Briceson_Davis on Tue Dec 04, 2018 2:54 pm

Be creative when it comes to your character and thread content. Don't go In-Game half assing your RP. If you're not feeling yourself at some moment then log off and regather yourself. Maybe spend time doing something else until you're back in your groove. Show some originality. Think outside the box when it comes to thread media/content. Of course most of the time we'll all be posting regular screenshots to show activity, but from time to time do something out of the ordinary. If it's acceptable that is.

Please do not just read this and not act upon it. Season your character, please. Visit the "Keys To Greater Roleplay" section of the forums to land upon some great ideas for RP and your character as a whole. If needed, there's people in the faction who can pass some ideas down to you.
